Amy grew up in Corn, OK and moved to Kansas to play volleyball for the Tabor Bluejays. In 2010, she graduated with a degree in Organizational Communication and double minored in Missions and Integrated-Business: Marketing Communications. She spent nine years in special education before joining our staff in April, 2022. She has been married to her husband Derek since 2015 and they welcomed their son, Silas, into their family in 2021.

Fun facts: Amy loves baking with her home-milled flour, canning her garden goods, watching The Office, long hikes with Derek, and snuggling with Silas. Her happy place is the family cabin in Colorado.
